Definitely this time Universal India goes ballistic with Punjabi music. Slated to be one of the biggest Punjabi release of the year – this album is an All Star Assemblage of brand new Bhangra tunes that is sure to rock Bhangra-dom not just in India but across the globe.

Titled as the #1s SHER-E-PUNJAB this album begins with an onslaught by the son of Punjabi soil and immensely popular Bollywood singer MIKA singing the title in his own distinct style. Interestingly the album signs off with the very same track and this time with the King of Desi Hip Hop BOHEMIA.

‘Gidde Wich’ is a rocking dance number sung by the glorious LEHMBER HUSSAINPURI who rules the charts both in crossover UK Bhangra as well as traditional Punjabi songs. This track by Lehmber has two versions both for the desi and a global audience with a Drum ‘n Bass mix.

Sher-e-punjab de and Gidde Wich are also the video tracks that feature Mika & Lehmber respectively. ‘Mitro’ by LABH JANJUA is yet another dance floor cracker that is sure to take you to the middle of action in true Janjua style!

‘Nach Billo’ a monster number by the The Golder Star of Bhangra – MALKIT SINGH & RISHI RICH featuring Mumzy Stranger is a special voice and rhythm treat that is bound to rock your socks! This followed by the flamboyant JUGGY D’s latest club hit – ‘Ni Soniye’ featuring B.Projekt.

Special mention goes to the KAKA BHANIAWALA whose legendary number ‘Dharu Peeke’ has been included in this album as homage to the true spirit of the late charismatic Punjabi singer.

The album also includes PANJABI MC’s brand new ‘Shades On’ mix of the biggest dance hit of the year ‘Panjaban’ featuring the recent collaboration with US Rapper Avion.

The album also includes tracks by Italian dance/ club band SHAMUR, RDB featuring JOSH, and more of BOHEMIA. Thus, #1s ‘Sher-e-Punjab’ also translated ‘THE BEST OF THE BEST’ provides a fresh bunch of goodies for this party season and inevitably becomes the perfect ‘end of year’ album.
